The Other Stories Exhibition

Organized by BİLGİ Migration Research Center in collaboration with Koridoor Contemporary Art Programs, ArtHereIstanbul, Sanat Seninle Association, Migration Research Association, Support to Life Association, the Asylum and Migration Research Center, and the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants, and the BİLGİ EU Institute, this exhibition highlighted diverse narratives on migration and displacement, both within and across borders, as interpreted by artists.

The exhibition, titled The Other Stories, featured works from 50 internationally renowned artists, spanning disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, installation, printmaking, drawing, video art, and performance. It was held under the "Creative Network Plus: Baseline Research and Development (BREDEP)" project, coordinated by the University of Derby with funding from UK Research and Innovation-AHRC. Faculty Member Gülay Uğur Göksel, PhD led the project’s implementation in Türkiye at BİLGİ Migration Center.
