Prepared by the science and industry museum, La Cité des Sciences et de l’industrie, in Paris and brought to Turkey by WWF-Turkey and TUSIAD, the “Water for All” exhibition aimed to raise awareness on the value of water and limited water resources in the society starting with the children and youth. The exhibition, financed by UNESCO and supported by the World Water Council presented vital, social, economic and managerial roles of water in the most impressive and interactive way.
The “Water for All” exhibiton took the visitors for a four-phase tour where they can see, hear and touch. Individuals visiting the exhibition which consisted of “Water Theatre”, “Future Puzzle”, “Voting for Water” and “Singing in the Rain”, witnessed the recent situation of water in the world by grasping facts like, '1.5 billion people around the world do not have access to water' and '2.5 million people die each year due to polluted water usage'.
The “Water for All” exhibition, making us discover the importance of wise use of water and the steps that need to be taken towards conserving water resources, displayed pressure of our lifestyles and population growth on the ecosystem and the planet’s capacity.
